Elkins’ CNC division is offered through his precision machining sister company, Multi Machining Capabilities (MMC), which is located right next door. A 6,500-square-foot high-tech facility, it houses 11 staff members and specializes in Stainless Steel; aluminum air, fluid, paint and pneumatic manifolds; and fluid-line parts. CNC offers complete process, design and engineering activities.

What are your CNC capabilities?
Elkins’ offers complete capabilities in one-stop shopping. CNC turning, milling, engineering and prototyping are all offered. Elkins’ CNC division is available through his precision machining sister company, Multi Machining Capabilities (MMC), which is located right next door. It specializes in Stainless Steel; aluminum air, fluid, paint and pneumatic manifolds; and fluid-line parts. The CNC Division offers turning opportunities up to 3 inches through the spindle capability and up to 21 by 26 inches in the chucking capacity. It offers milling opportunities up to a 50- by 20- by 24-inch envelope. CNC Division inventory includes nine lathes (Haas, Omniturn and Miyano), 10 mills (Hass and Fadal) along with OneCNC CAD/CAM, current Autodesk Inventor Suite, ShopCAM and Views and Editors technology. Elkins possesses 4th and 5th axis capabilities. Wire EDM Equipment allows Elkins’ CNC to rapidly respond to customer’s needs and deliver on schedule.

What are your engineering capabilities?
We are able to work with your current design and tailor it to our capabilities.

Is there a charge for engineering changes and revisions?
After an engineering change/revision, the part may be re-quoted to reflect the actual changes, which may include product and tooling change costs.
